Founded by tech industry veteran Carla Cook in 2010, Sharp Skirts was named one of Forbes’ Top 10 Entrepreneurial Sites for Women in 2011. The company was just beginning its expansion to Chicago when Carla had to get a day job to put food on the table.

Fast-forward 13 years, and the stakes have changed. We face an unprecedented shake-up of America and the global world order, and very real possibilities of being permanently silenced. There has never been a more important time to speak up; to share your stories and experiences to effect change.
